This chicken prep is standard across all cookbooks. Buying ready roast chickens saves time. If you can’t find them at an affordable place buy fresh chickens and roast them. Pop them in the oven first thing on cooking day.

  1. Roast the chickens (covered) in 4cm of water mixed with the Stock Go Mix. Debone the chicken and shred into a bowl. Divide into 5 portions. Reserve the stock to put in any meals (e.g. soups for extra flavour) as desired.
