I use yogurt as a topper (as opposed to sour cream) because it is lower in calories. Many readers prefer to use sour cream – which does taste nicer. It is cheaper over time to purchase yogurt in bulk. Rather than have yogurt go to waste – consider splitting the large tub of yogurt up into four portions and freezing. Just pull a portion out each week and use as desired. Defrost naturally in the fridge if possible.
